The Project

Working alongside a remodeling contractor and a plumber, Energized Electric wired a higher-end finished basement in Bethlehem. The kitchen received two 20 amp countertop receptacle circuits and a dedicated refrigerator circuit. A dedicated 240 volt line was run for the sauna, and the kitchen lighting was set up on a Lutron smart dimmer.

A TV receptacle was added for the wall-mounted TV so the finished space could be used cleanly for cooking, entertainment, and everyday relaxation.

What similar customers should know

Basement wiring is easiest to plan before framing, drywall, and ceiling finishes limit access. Homeowners should think about outlets, lighting zones, dedicated loads, TV locations, work-from-home needs, and future service access before the electrician roughs in the wiring.
