A Littlestown commercial customer called Energized Electric to troubleshoot an exposed live wire condition. An exterior light had been removed during siding work, the wire was taped off and pushed into the building, and the fixture was never remounted.
Energized Electric identified the condition, brought the wiring back to the exterior location, and mounted a light fixture so the wiring was no longer concealed inside the wall.
This project shows why electrical issues should be corrected properly when exterior work changes a light, sign, outlet, or other device.

When siding, roofing, or exterior renovation work removes an electrical device, the wiring still has to be handled correctly. Do not assume a wire is safe because it is hidden, taped, or no longer connected to a visible fixture.
